“Yearly figure of suicide rates by students turned out to be the highest in a decade-- over 10,000 in 2018. Twenty-eight students on an average committed suicide every 24 hours during 2018, according to NCRB data. India saw 1.3 lakh suicides in 2018, of which students made up 8%, almost the same in the farming sector, while 10% were unemployed people”. (ECONOMIC TIMES, 11-JAN-2020).
Education is an armor and a knowledge force working at all times for oneself to make one’s dreams & wishes happen in an ethical way which empowers the country and people across the globe. But unfortunately, by the wrong way, most of the students start taking this education as depression and it even takes many lives of students. Even some bright students use their knowledge for anti-social activities and some students lose their interest in education due to constant peer comparison and competitive behavior. SWADO addresses these issues very seriously and aims to support students in knowing the actual power and value of Education which is more beyond from regular Academics, Ranks, Exams and competition. SWADO aims to introduce the real taste of education which makes you not only perform well in Academics but also gives you a successful career. Also, we have many programs to reinforce the psychological structure of students to face any social and family challenges.
We observed the main reasons behind those issues are the urgency of finishing Syllabus & Examinations and the need to show success records from school staff to Management & to parents. Further, many coaching classes for multiple/ numerous competitive exams and separate Tuitions for syllabi already taught in schools/college is an added hindrance. Such rush-ups and competitions surely inculcate wrong methods of result achievement, attitude issues, increases their competitive behavior which makes them misses to know the real purpose of Academics & sweetness of education which is built for everyone’s wellbeing across the planet.
STUDENT IGNORANCE AND EXAMINATION MYTHS:
Most of the students consider their academics only for Examination purpose. Once the examinations are over, students believe subjects become untouchable. In fact, All Academic Subjects are connected to our daily life. The power of observation and visualization of academic subjects with respect to our daily life is highly needed to produce more inventions and to reinforce a country’s economy. One of the main purposes of setting up this organization is to fill this gap.
Students must understand the purpose of Examination is randomly checking your learning with respect to the syllabus on a sample basis and for Filtration purpose only. As the board needs to check millions of students within a limited time, they introduced some methods for random checks about to ensure their learning and it’s termed as examination. It is not a destination point of your career or academics or it is not the sole purpose of students going to school.
About competitive exam: As the students across various boards and academic patterns come together in a common platform, a common body is required to conduct common tests for all to avoid variation/ chaos. This is termed as “Competitive Exam”. Since a greater number of students are participating in those exams, the major aim of many competitive exams becomes to check for speed and memory with some tricks and tactics. Hence, even with more subjective knowledge, students can’t succeed in those competitive exams due to the above reasons and due to the limited number of seats. We observed most students become low self-esteem and get more demotivated due to failure at this point. It is one kind of ignorance as many successful people across globe were not successful in their exams. For speed and Memory, many gadgets are now available to do the task easily. Failure in competitive exams does not have any kind of influence in the possibility of exploring your thinking or converting your knowledge into real time application and in becoming one of the most successful people in society.
Examination might ease your academic journey by the entry with First-class ticket so that you can get in good colleges. But even if one is in the unreserved compartment, you can reach your destination point.
IMPORTANCE OF ECONOMY & POWERFUL TERM “PEOPLE”:
Students must understand the most powerful term “PEOPLE”. It is just like electrons as you can’t point it out visually, but you can feel its existence and power. Education and Academics aim to facilitate “PEOPLE” in way of invention, service, Protection & Entertainment in ethical way. Such facilitate initiation directly linked to Job opportunity and economic growth.
From student hood itself, they should be taught to develop various Life & Career skills in link with academics and to show the various ways to give their contribution to make this society greater.
If our living society can fulfill each individual’s economic needs in ethical way through education, then it is time to talk about Peace, Service & Ethics. This also reduces many anti-social activities in our country.
STEM BACKGROUND STUDENTS & CAREER MISGUIDE
STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics.
I am very much concerned about career misguidance happening, especially to STEM background students due to lack of awareness, wrong guidance, and ignorance. They are the real strength to the country as they can contribute more to strengthen the currency value & make a self-reliant country with more job opportunities and homemade technology. Without any self-analysis of their strength, skill and field of Interest, students are joining STEM courses and are struggling to finish it or even after finishing, they are interested to join NON-STEM branches for employment. They totally forget about the power of STEM. It produces more unemployment and lack of interest in Job. If your school academics, college course and career is not aligned with your field of interest, then you are wasting your time, energy, and money for someone. Finding the field of Interest at school level is the most important thing to make successful career.
